From December 2008 through December 2011- our group of ladies have sent 6,117 cards to the troops.

This is a sympathy card that I made for my sister, Lizzy's brother in law, David. While David was in the hospital, the squirrel was hit by a car and died. One of the neighbors went picked up the squirrel and put it into his garbage can. Stacey which is a neighbor that is close to both David and Laura took the squirrel out of the garbage wrapped it really good and put it in her freezer for David. The Squirrel is now in David's freezer and will be stuffed one day soon.
The card is an easel card. The coloring was done with my copic sketch markers. Yes that is an actually picture of SNEAKY BOO. I hear through the grapevine David is now trying to befriend another squirrel that has a part of its tail chopped off, he calls it Box.

Patty that card was so sweet and David has it displayed for everyone to see. I think he has been trying to find another squirrel, but it seems that Sneaky Boo was unique. He was talking about it the other day and said the other squirrels just won't receive him like Sneaky Boo did. Maybe if he keeps trying, he will get one to eat out of his hands soon.
