Don't know how many of your invested in the Micheal's clear stamps for a dollar. Well I have stored my in CD cases, this weekend I stamped a cover for each CD (16)cases showing the stamps in each one. I don't know if any of you use the Stamping up ink spots, I notice when using them on the clear stamps they seem to beading, well if you use a white eraser on the stamps first you will have a clear stamp image. Give it a try.

A few images that I colored with my LePlume markers, the angel stamp I did use a blender pen in certain areas. I plan on using the eagle/flag stamp to create a card for a Solider's bithday. Hint: Roni's son, BJ. Love the sun image thought I could use that one on an inspirational card

More images most of these I used my LePlume markers and a blender pen. I just love coloring in the flower images.

Stocking up on Cards

I have decided to start making a few cards for my card box. I have not completed the inside of the cards just yet. I thought I would do that right before sending them out. So that I could personalize each of them.

Butterfly cards

I have made 3 birthday cards using the 3 butterflies that I colored yesterday. On the blue card I use my new roller from Stampin Up.

The river seems to still be rising. They have open about 160 bays on the Bonne Carrie Spillway (there are 350 bays). They are saying within the next week or 2 the river should be going down. Yes that is New Orleans in the background for though that don't live in the area.

More Cards

here are the rest of the cards that I completed at SPM crop weekend.

SPM = Scrappin Packin Mommas

As most of you know this weekend was the Scrappin Packin Mommas
thweekend crop. There was 16 of us. Each lady walked away with 2
prizes. A few have asked who won the card basket that I made, well
it was Jenny (she is 5 one in the front row of the photo, counting from
the top.

For Saturday night entertainment we had a dinner theater, featuring the skit "Flamgino Trailer Park scrapbook convention". Now all I can say is what happen during the dinner theater, stays there, my lips are sealed.
But I can say that there was a lot of laughter.

Also, our member Drama Momma (new name is Angel Momma) was celebrating her birthday Saturday and of course there was cake.

Cards, Cards, Cards

The cards above are a few that I completed this weekend at the Scrappin Packin Mommas crop weekend. It was a fantastic weekend.

Card Swap

The cards above were some goodies that I received in the mail today, which was from a card swap that I participated in with the ladies from my online group, called "The Crop Room". Starting at the top row, from left to right. The first card was made by Nanny Jenny, it is embossed and she used this really pretty gold shiney paper for the base card, and she embossed her lettering. The second card was made by Isabel, she used a white base with a sliver matting, she stamped the "Footprint" peom on the front of the card, when you open the card there is a tiny die cut flower with a jewel in the bottom right corner of the card. The third card was made by Janice Traylor, she stamped a cross on a piece of pattern paper which was used as a matting, and then she stamped her sentiment on a piece of vellum, and attached the vellum on top of the matting with brads. The first card of the second row was made by Chris, She had computer generated Psalm and matted with a pattern paper using pink cardstock as her base. the last card was made by Arlene she used a faux silk technique on her cardI love her placement of the brads and wish I could tie a bow like she does. Ladies I think everyone of the cards are beautiful. This ladies are top notch cardmarker, I still have a lot to learn. The card below is the card I sent for the swap.
I also got two large packages from my email pen pal, Brandy. Brandy you really did out do yourself. I love everything that I received. Thank you so very much for all the goodies.

Stampin Up Party

Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday afternoon I spend time with some of my scrapping friends. Debbie had a Stampin up Party at her home. Which by the way was so cozy and loved the tea cup chandlier. Debbie the food was great and thank you for having us in your home. It is sad to know that in a year you will be leaving us to go live in North Caroline, but you will be close to family. Totally understand.

Well this is the 3rd party that I have been to that Lisa and Lori has conducted and each and everyone of them I walked away with some pretty awesome projects. The green bookmarker is something that Lisa made for all of the guest. We used two sided paper, and stamped some butterflies, cut them out and attached them with pop dots and this beautiful card emerged. Love the gift card holder , we all had a try at watercoloring an image. Then we made the cute little book pretty easy to do and makes such a great gift. I also meet a new scrapper, cardmaker, Joy.
Later in the evening I had to make a stop at Michael's and lo and behold, I see Pam, Donna, and Lisa also shopping. Gotta use them 50% coupons.
