Early Morning in the Country - Card making

This weekend I visited with my younger sister, Cathy again. It is just so beautiful in the country, which is Sumrall, Mississippi for me. Early Sunday morning I was going to go and work in her scrapbook room, but it was so beautiful outside. It was 7:30 in the morning so I just set up my card making supplies on a large table she had under the a big oak tree with the morning sun to my back and for 2 hours I set there and made some Christmas cards that I am giving away as a gift. I was able to practice using my texture plates, practicing faux stitching, and used some of my Miss Elizabeth stickers.

Okay, I am re-typing my message. I have had a hard time with posting comments. I think I finally have a new password. I set one up a few weeks ago and posted, but didn't write it down. This is a test before I type you a long one again. I did tell you in the post that failed that I know what you mean about the country. I am glad to know that you were sitting under that oak tree scrapping. That is such a peaceful place and probably a much needed place for you to be. I love the nature and that is why I enjoy going to my camp so much. It is really another home to me, but at a much slower pace, where you can just take a moment to absorb all of God's creations. My favorite is the colors in the sky while being on the lake when the sun goes down. God is such an artist.
