Blog Candy

Just a reminder - if you click on the pictures you will be able to enlarge them for better view.

I am offering up some Candy Blog in exchange for your comments. If you would like a chance at winning these 3 homemade cards - you will need to leave a comment. But not just any comment. The comment will have to be a suggestion for my friend Jackie Daigle - she is in the process of opening a new scrapbook (Scrappin Friendzee) store on the Westbank (Marrero, Louisiana). Please offer her some suggestions on products (that you would like to see in the store), ideas, projects(scrapbook, paper craft, card making), and general information in setting up a scrapbook store. If you have seen something in another scrap book store that you like please share it with her. At the end of the day on Thursday, November 1, 2007 - I will put everyone’s name in a hat and draw for the lucky winner.

Here are a few more of my paper piecings that will be on sale at Bayou Segnette, Westwego, Louisiana . If any of you will be attending the Bayou Segnette event, I will be teaching a paper piecing class on Saturday and one on Sunday. Both of the classes will have a halloween theme. Each class will have a drawing at the end for a chance of winning the sample paper piecing that was used in the class. After each class I will have paper piecing for sale.
Check out this link - it will lead you to the cutest Halloween box.

I would suggest that it be organized by themes--Christmas,Holidays, sports, school, baby, wedding, etc. It makes it so much easier when you are looking for something or working on something special. Even things by colors...we all usually put our embellishments by colors.

My suggestionis to have plenty of
samples of pages, projects, altered books, altered clipboards, etc. all around the store. This always catches my eye and makes me want to try new things.

These are all lovely cards...and I love your piecings in the post below.
I love when there are finished projects all around the store...it inspires me and drains my pocket book on the supplies to make the items.
I love to see lots of flowers, ribbon, unique brads..ect (embellishments) and of course I love stamps and well known brand paper.

My suggestion is to organize by shades of color.. ( dark pink, light pink, etc...) It makes it so much easier when looking for that special something that you need.
