Scrappin Packin Mommas Fall Crop

On Friday (10/17) and Saturday (10/18) the Scrappin Packin Mommas held their annual Fall crop. There was 17 ladies that were in attendance and 5 of those ladies were guest. Lots of scrapbooking, cardmaking, socializing and just plain good old fun was taking place. Laura (Karoke Momma) was the host for our Western Hoe Down.
This is our mascot, her name is easy "Mascot Momma" . One of our guest, peggy found the western shirt for our mascot. This is the trading post where you could trade off scrapbook/cardmaking items that you did not want for something that you wanted.
Yo! Momma (Lizzy) working on a layout for her daughter. The title of the layout is "Pumpkin Math". Lizzy made 5 layouts at this event and that was a lot for her. Awesome layouts with a ton of paper piecing.

Patty: That was pretty cool seeing the pictures of myself working hard at the convention. Thank you for featuring me and my creations on your blog. That was so sweet of you and I was tickled to see my productivity. You have been telling me for a long time that I have to find the time for myself with the paper piecings. It took me a while to figure it out, but I think I am there. Well, as I told you 5:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. is my new "me" time. It took me a while to discover what works for me and I love it. I sometimes wake at 4:30 and have a hard time going back to sleep because I am excited that 5:00 a.m. is coming and that is my scrapping time. I know it sounds crazy, but it is an awesome way to start your day with a little joy in your life doing something for yourself. Thanks for continuing to inspire me with your blog and your paper piecings. The whole time I was trying to figure this out for myself, you kept that spirit alive in me. As I have said before, your blog has touched a lot of hearts and my experience is only one of many. Keep up your beautiful paper piecings. I know they have brought you so much joy.
Love,
Your Sister
