Great buys at Michael's

Well since I was across the river for Lisa's crop and near the Michael's I just had to stop in to see what goodies I could buy. I was looking for some of the wooden rubber stamps that they have in the $1.00 bins for Easter, but found some for Valentine, there were several but I only picked a few and will pick them up for valentine cards for the troops in 2010. The package with the 4 small stamps cost me only 50 cent.
Also, I found in the clearance bins some square embossed christmas cards that they were selling for 25 cents a pack. Each pack had 8 cards and 8 envelopes. I am going to try and alter them into other cards other than Chrismtas. Might be albe to cut windows in the, which was suggested by Clarence K. My sister, Lizzy said that maybe a window with a color piece of cardstock in the window for more support on the card. If I cut it into a window there is not much support on the edges of the card, that is where Lizzy's idea comes into play. We will see, for they are just tucked away. To many other projects going on here, Sara photo folders for her Feb 14 birthday party, finish up my personal valentine cards and working on my February birthday cards for family and friends. Lisa had taken the yellow and pink eyelet cards an altered them into Easter cards. They are really pretty cards they are tri fold. The Hot pink cards were a $1.00 a package. These cards are blank on the inside, and can easily be altered to whatever theme you may need.

I also found a new series of Studio G $1.00 stamps I did not purchase everyone that was in the series but did purchase most of them. I think my favorite is the one with the bbq pit. Also, the one with all the borders, and the set with the pregant mom.
I just love these little clear stamps set.
