the Southwest and South East coast of Louisiana is in the process of evacating the area. We have a possible Cat 4 or 5 heading to the centeralize coast line of Louisiana. The new Orleans metro area being on the east side of the storm is not good. There could be some serious flooding.
I will be heading in land to Mississppi around the Hatteisburg area, yes still might be in Hurricane force winds. If we see a need to move further north we will pack the cars and move further up. Since yesterday people have been flowing out of the area, the interstate systems have been bumper to bumper since yesterday. I will be leaving Sunday and that is when contra flow beginnings which is not going to be a fun ride.
Still preparing the house for the storm. Hubby is staying home, still trying to talk him into coming with us.
