the lights are paper pieced. I painted the cord with green arylic paint.
this is another paper piecing. The little bird is inked and pop dotted. I also use some of the pattern paper on my envelopes.
These are my longer cards. I used my creative memory's cirlce punch for the circles, inked each of my circles, and use my copic markers to draw the faces, and popped dotted each of the cirlces.
This is a little reindeer that I cut out and painted way back in the late 80's.
Loved making the pointsettia and inked each one a little different.
more fleur de lis santa cards. The snowflake card is a $1.00 stamp that I purchased from Michael's.
3 more christmas cards for family or friends. Giving Christmas Cards each year to family, friends and coworkers is something that I really enjoy. The last 6 years I have been making my own cards and this is a challenge sometimes, but for the most part I love each of my cards.
My friend Linda, made santa fleur de lis cards for our november card swap group, well I decided to scraplift her idea and this is my verison of the Santa fleur de lis cards.
Please leave a comment to let me know what you think or would do different to the cards?
The same pattern I used to make the snowman oranments I used to make these christmas cards. There will be 4 people on my christmas list receiving one of these cards. Do you think you will the lucky one?
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about the cards.
more driftwood from the mighty mississippi river, These were fun to create.
These 2 ornaments are for my grandbabies. I plan on making each of them an ornament every year for the christmas tree, by the time they leave home they should have a collection of ornaments for their own tree.
There 6 pieces to this snowman. 3 circles different sizes cut from the soda can, branch from the soda can for the arms, and a hat also cut from the soda can, and 2 black brads to hole it all together (eyes). Then I painted it with arylic paints and sealed it with a clear finish.
a santa claus face painted on a piece of driftwood from the mighty Mississippi River.
Finally finished my New Orleans fleur de lis painting.
wanted to do a painting with "Who Dat" "Saints" angel owls and stain glass background... well this is what I came up with.
Made my ghost from white garbage bags, and black construction paper, my little pumpkins are coke cans that were painted orange, and black. I poke holes in the can and put battery operated tea lights, and they glowed at night.
One pattern makes 2 different flowers. One that reminds me of a marigold and the other a rose.
another grapevine wreath from Dollar and some aluminum from soda cans created the holly and the snowball faces.
This is one of the small grapevine wreaths that I bought from Dollar Tree. The embellishments are made from aluminum soda cans and painted with a acrylic paints, and spray with a clear coat of varnish.
again I started with a Dollar Tree grapevine wreath... cut out several leaves from the aluminum soda cans, painted with several layers of paint. I did use my stylus to engrave veins in each of the leaves. I do need your comment on this... do you think I should add more to this wreath or leave it along?????? I value everyone's comment.
Pretty please about the way the 2 images came out.
Just love doing these zentangles, slowly learning them.
Started with the same imaged by altered and gave it two different looks.
