Symphathy cards - Part 2

More cards for Jenny and my card box. All of the images was colored with markers and chalk. I just love inking the edges of my cards. The cards with the orange lily, the scallop punch border from Stampin Up was used to make the paper ribbon strip on the card.

Sympathy Cards

The online group "The Crop Room" that I belong to has a swap that they have being during for the last several months called the "Card Queen". Last month I was the queen and this month it is Jenny and she asked for some Sympathy cards. I decided to make 10 power packs (cards) to work on the first day of Go Go Momma's crop. Five of the cards are going to be for Jenny and the other five will go in my card box.

Krista Ondish a member of "The Crop Room" with some Thinking of you cards. The cards arrived Friday (11/21). Thanks Krista for such lovely cards.

Chirstmas countdown clipboard

Lisa taught this class on Friday evening at Go Go Momma's crop. Everything was pretty much cut on the Cricut. The number circles are attached using velcro. I used stickles to make my numbers pop. I totally enjoyed doing this class. Lisa you are so talented. Thanks for teaching the class. I know that Nicole and Bailey will love this clipboard.

Sending Christmas cards to family and friends is one of my favorite things to do at Christmas. The images were colored with markers, chalk and to add some bling I used stickles.

On Friday (11/21) I taught a paper piecing class to 4 ladies (Jackie, Jenny, Karrie and Lisa). Here are the results of that class.

Baskets & Go Go Momma's Crop

This weekend I went to Go Go Momma's (Jackie) crop. Which I had a wonderful time. I was able to complete 10 Symphathy cards and 24 christmas cards. I taught a paper piecing (turkey)class. I also made a clipboard which is a countdown to Christmas. The bakets here in the picture was a door prize and the other was a birthday gift for a friend (Lisa). Michele (Angel Momma) won the door prize.


The event was from Thursday 2:00 p.m. through Saturday 2:00 a.m. On Thursday was 3 ladies and on Friday we had 5 ladies, then on Saturday 8 ladies were in attendees. Jackie was a great host. We had Gumbo and Potato salad from one of the local restaurants in the neighboring town of Lafitte. Our event was in Crown Point, Louisiana. We also had hot dogs & Chili, Papa John's pizza, and from our hostess' kitchen we had Red Beans and Rice. On Thursday night we were treated to a fry turkey. Jenny's husband was testing a new piece of equipment he inquried to cook a fried turkey without oil. The turkey was so good and juicey.

Santa, Giraffes

I love this santa claus, he was fun to make. For some reason I have made several differnt giraffes, but I really enjoy doing a giraffe paper piecing for some reason. It is a awesome piece to put on a zoo layout.

The barrel of firework is a paper piecing I will be putting on one of my fourth of july layouts.
